Our school inspires students to do their very best in everything they take part in. We are an active school which with nearly 200 students and nine teachers. Our students are from 6 to 12 years old and we have classes from preschool up to grade six. Rovastinkangas aims to be more than just a school. We have emphasis on art and skill subjects such as sports, music, art and handicrafts. In addition to those we also concentrate on media skills. Our students study English already in preschool. The students have a very active role in our school. There is an influential student counsel and a cheerful Cheerleaders group. We also have a god child Ishan, in Sri Lanka, whose studies we aid financially. The school of Rovastinkangas is a modern school with high technology. We were formerly known as the school of Vehkalahti, but since August 2006 we moved into a new school building and changed the name of our school into Rovastinkankaan koulu.
