DAYS OF GLORY - Linz January 13th -15th

And the winners are...

On Friday 13 January 2006, the winners of the first eTwinning prizes were revealed at the prize giving ceremony in Linz in Austria during a three-day eTwinning conference. The winners were announced by Ján Figel', Commissioner for Education, Training, Culture and Multilingualism and Elisabeth Gehrer, the Austrian Minister for Education.

Our project "Learning and Sharing" was the winner in the category of pedagogigal innovation. Tiina Sarisalmi from Oriveden Keskuskoulu and Rita Schmidt from Iglemyr Skole received the vouchers for five days eTwinning camp in Lanzarote Spain.

All nominated partnerships presented their projects in workshops during the conference and in the exhibition hall visited by more than 400 participants. Our stand was very popular. Jan Figel, Ulf Lundin (CSS) and Elisabeth Gehrer were very interested. The National Board of Education had its own stand in the conference
