A Typical School Day

Early Morning |
Before Noon |
- I wake up at 7.00 a.m.
- I take a warm shower.
- I clean my teeth etc.
- I have breakfast.
- I take the dog out.
- I clean my teeth (again!).
- I chew gum.
- I crab my backpack.
- I leave home at 7.45.
- The first class starts at 8.00.

- The first class ends at 8.50.
- We have a 10 minutes break.
- During the break we can play pool, use the computers or hang
around in the school library.
- The second class starts at 9.00 and
ends at
9.45.
- We have a 15 minutes break.
- The third class starts at 10.00.
- We have a 15 minutes break.
- The fourth lesson starts at 11.00.
- We have lunch at 11.45 in the school canteen.
- Lunch break lasts
for half an hour.

- The fifth class from 12.15 to 1.00 p.m.
- The sixth class from 1.10 to 2.00 p.m.
- The seventh class from 2.10 to 2.55 p.m.
- The eighth class from 3.00 to 3.45 p.m.
- There’s always a break between the classes, except if the last two classes
in the afternoon form a double period.

- I have a small snack at home.
- I read or at least browse through the daily paper.
- I take the dog out.
- I do my homework
- I pack my backpack for the next day.
- I have dinner.
- I take a nap.
- I have a cup of coffee or tea.
- I spend time doing my hobbies.
- I surf in the internet.
- I watch tv.
- I have a light supper.
- I clean my teeth.
- I go to bed at 10.00 p.m.
